Martin Masters the Mass Start in Oslo

France's Martin Fourcade won the season-ending men's 15K mass start, with a single penalty and pulling away in the last loop with masterful skiing to win in 40:59.9. Second went to clean-shooting Dominik Landertinger, seven seconds back, with Slovenia's Jakov Fak taking third place, with two penalties, 32.9 seconds back.

Kuzmina Skis to Oslo Mass Start Victory

Slovakia's Anastasiya Kuzmina won the season-ending women's 12.5K mass start this afternoon, with four penalties, in 39:44.8. The victory was her second in row after winning yesterday's pursuit competition. Second place went to Slovenia's Teja Gregorin, with two penalties,, 3.8 seconds back, with France's Marie Dorin Habert claiming third, with three penalties, 8.3 seconds back.

Austria’s Simon Eder Perfect in Oslo Pursuit

Austria's Simon Eder won for the first time this season, shooting clean to take the men's 12.5K pursuit in 32;23.4. Russia's Alexander Loginov pulled away in the final loop from Sweden's Björn Ferry to claim second, 12.7 seconds back, while Ferry was 20.7 seconds back. Both men had a single penalty in the final standing stage.

Holmenkollen Pursuit to Anastasiya Kuzmina

Olympic Sprint Champion Anastasiya Kuzmina of Slovakia won the final women's 10K pursuit of the season today in 30:29.1, with two penalties. Second went to Norway's Tora Berger, with four penalties, 41.8 seconds back. Russia's Olga Vilukhina finished third, with two penalties, 54 seconds back.

At the end of every World Cup, the wax trucks and equipment vans load their equipment and head off into the night to get to the next venue before the athletes arrive. Most of the time, the drives are 6-8 hours within central Europe, making for short efficient trips.

Jakov Fak Wins Holmenkollen Sprint

Slovenia's Jakov Fak, with one penalty, won for the first time this season by taking the men's 10K sprint at Oslo's Holmenkollen Ski Stadium in 26:05.9. second went to Russia's Evgeniy Garanichev, who shot clean but finished 13.9 seconds back. Third went to the suddenly ageless Björn Ferry of Sweden who shot clean, but was .4 seconds behind Garanichev.

Holmenkollen Sprint to Darya Domracheva

Darya Domracheva of Belarus overcame a single standing penalty to claim victory in the final World Cup sprint of the season, covering the soft 7.5K course in 22:18.8. Domracheva kept the retiring Tora Berger from the top of the podium in the final sprint of her career. Berger shot clean, but finished 10.7 seconds back. Third went to Susan Dunklee of the USA, who also shot clean, but finished 33 seconds behind Domracheva.
